The Heart of a Mother - A Touching Song

A few days ago, I shared my poem called “The Heart of a Mother” here and on various Facebook groups.

                                                    

The next day, I received an email from the father of a young woman who is struggling with addiction. It turns out that he is also a singer/songwriter, and he wanted to make my poem into a song. I was so touched and honoured.

Today, he sent me the song with a video. To say that I was blown away would be an understatement. I had goose bumps and tears. He has an amazing voice that brought the poem to life in a way that I never expected.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. He brought together two complete strangers – a mother and a father – from different continents so that they could create something beautiful and powerful. The response to the song has been amazing.  I love it so much, and I hope that you do too! Please watch, listen and share so that it reaches the people who need to hear it the most!
